okay since this poor thing died this summer, motherboard just said "bye" because yes, and i had there the samba server to play ps2, im gonna have to make another samba server because well, i want to play ps2. i havent played it yet this year i think. but the case is: where do i install it?
a bunch of years ago, my father bought some pc for his mothers house. for him to watch sports "decently" when he was visiting. he bought a very small form factor one, to hide it between dvd tdt and whatnots, and long story short they called me to "try to fix it" because it was SO crappy it couldnt even play an offline 1080p video on vlc without lagging. opening a file explorer was agony, etc etc, you know, crappy pcs. and he wanted to watch streams on it. "lmao not happening. and less with win10". he opted for "i will take my laptop with me whenever i go visit then" and "if you want this thing, i dont want to see it ever again" and it ended up in a closet for some years, and while i thought about it from time to time ("i could use it to make a mail server" for example) i havent really done anything with it. until now. now im gonna put samba on it and put it besides the ps2 (it is aprox the size of a ps2 slim), because im not that good with networks stuffs and i dont want to open a pc i do use and store things in with an obsolete samba version in a network in wich uhh well my family is not that educated on "dont download mysterious .exes from the internet pls". i tried but they arent. so because of that and because i want to try to fill my mind with something not bad, in this case computers, im gonna discover what this thing is (it doesnt have any sticker detailing hw, it has "full hd 1080" and "hdmi compatible" stickers instead)
anyway. i guess im kinda back to existance, i will be replying to DMs in the following days-weeks-months i hope. drink water.
