✅ دیوان عالی کانادا چندین پرونده را بررسی خواهد کرد که بخشی از قوانین کیفری را به چالش می کشد. مقررات این بخش می گوید اگر شخصی به طور داوطلبانه الکل یا سایر مسکرات را مصرف کند تا حدی که کنترل خودآگاه بر اعمال خود را از دست بدهد و مرتکب جرم خشونت آمیز شود، مسئول آن است. وقوع جرم به این دلیل است که آنها "به طور قابل توجهی" در برآورده کردن استانداردهای معقول جامعه شکست خورده اند. دفاع «مستی شدید» در پرونده های جنایی بر تحقق حق برابری زنان و حق برابر برای امنیت شخصی تأثیر منفی خواهد گذاشت.

The men were initially convicted but the province’s Court of Appeal set aside the guilty verdicts after finding part of the law unconstitutional. The impugned provision, enacted in 1995, bars an accused from using self-induced extreme intoxication as a defence.

«مرکز حقوق کیفری بینالمللی ایران» همزمان با بیستمین سالگرد فعالیت #دیوان_کیفری_بین_المللی و در راستای دانش افزائی جامعه حقوقی #ایران نسبت به نظام عدالت کیفری جهانی سومین دوره #مدرسه_بهاره_ديوان_كيفري_بين_المللي را با همکاری «پژوهشکده حقوقی شهر دانش» برگزار میکند.

🖥️ نحوه برگزاری دوره: به صورت مجازی و برخط
🎙️مدرسین: دکتر هیراد ابطحی (رییس دفتر ریاست دیوان) دکتر راد راستان (مشاور حفوقی دادستان دیوان) دکتر محمد هادی ذاکرحسین (هیات علمی دانشگاه تهران)، دکتر پوریا عسکری (هیات علمی دانشگاه علامه طباطبایی)، خانم سپیده طباطبائی (عضو دادستانی دیوان)، خانم زهرا موسوی (پژوهشگر).
📄برنامه دوره: شش جلسه ( به مدت یک ساعت و نیم)
💳 هزینه ثبت نام: دانشجویان (۴۰۰ هزارتومان) آزاد (۵۰۰ هزار تومان)
📌 در پایان دوره به افراد حاضر در بیش از نیمی از جلسات گواهی حضور در جلسه به صورت مجازی تقدیم می گردد

✅ The American Branch of the International Law Association (ABILA) is pleased to announce our call for panel proposals for the International Law Weekend 2022 (ILW 2022)—the premier international law event of the fall season. ILW 2022 is scheduled for October 20-22, 2022 in New York City. We look forward to gathering in person for the first time in over two years.
