هزاران نفر طی روزهای گذشته برای اعتراض به قانون سقط جنین در لهستان، در شهرهای مختلف جهان به خیابان آمدند و با معترضان لهستانی ابراز همبستگی کردند.

دادگاه قانون اساسی لهستان حکمی را صادر کرده که به موجب آن قوانین سقط جنین در این کشور از پیش هم محدودتر می‌شود. با لازم الاجرا شدن این حکم، سقط جنین در مورد ناهنجاری‌های جنینی در لهستان عملا ممنوع شده و تنها در موارد محدودی از جمله بارداری ناشی از تجاوز جنسی و زنای با محارم یا وجود تهدید برای سلامتی مادر مجاز خواهد بود.

✅ The successful applicant will be expected to commence the Fellowship in the middle of January 2021 and conclude in the middle of January 2023.

BENEFITS:
1. The Fellow will be appointed to the full-time position of Post-Doctoral Fellow at CIL on a two-year contract, with a fixed annual remuneration of S$72,000. This all-in sum is inclusive of stipends for housing and living expenses.

❇️ DUTIES:
1. The Fellow will develop and carry forward a coherent research programme that ideally has demonstrable impact on the law and policy of international investment, international trade, and/or other areas of international economic affairs.
2. The Fellow will be expected to conduct research and develop a body of outstanding quality publications of his or her own in well-recognised peer-reviewed outlets.
3. The Fellow will be expected to work with the researchers in CIL’s Investment Law and Policy programme approximately 50 per cent of the time and contribute significantly to the objectives of that programme.
4. The Fellow will be expected to present his or her research and give invited papers at academic conferences and may be asked to provide expert opinion and commentary to external audiences and organisations.
5. The Fellow may be expected to teach or co-teach capacity-building training.
6. Subject to the standard NUS terms of annual leave, the Fellow will be expected to be in residence throughout the term of their appointment. In addition to annual leave, the Fellow may apply for leave to undertake research and fieldwork overseas, subject to the approval of the CIL Director.

📍What is the role of public international law and public international lawyers in contemporary society and across the globe? Is international law “fit for purpose” to address the contemporary challenges to its capacities, authority, ambit, relevance and vision in the 21st century? To many of the worlds’ inhabitants, human and non-human, it seems as if “the “world is on fire” – whether the cause of this impression be inter alia the pandemic, climate change, war, persecution, poverty, fascism, displacement or occupation. In light of the ubiquity of oppression and suffering on the planet, do traditional positivist or black-letter approaches to international law need to be revisited, rethought or refashioned, and if so, to what extent, and to what end(s)?

The series will host six panels the following salient themes of international legal scholarship and practice:

1) food, the right to sustenance, and the distribution of resources;

2) racism, postcolonialism, and the inherent whiteness of mainstream international law;

3) “inclusion”, “diversity” and the quest for representation;

4) literature and literary approaches to international law-making;

✅ چهارم نوامبر سالگرد اعلام قانون اساسی پادشاهی تونگا در سال 1875 [سیزدهم آبان 1254] می باشد که پیش از این با عنوان روز قانون اساسی جشن گرفته میشد؛ از سال 2006، برای جشن سالگرد سرمایه های ملی بصورت یکجا، این روز به نام روز ملی تونگا تغییر یافته است. پادشاهی تونگا کشوری واقع در قاره اقیانوسیه، اقیانوس آرام جنوبی، در مرکز خط بین‌المللی زمان است. قلمرو تونگا در شمال نیوزیلند، در شرق فیجی و در جنوب ساموآ قرار دارد. تونگا از سال ۱۹۰۰ به صورت تحت‌الحمایه بریتانیا درآمد و در ۴ ژوئن ۱۹۷۰ از بریتانیا اعلام استقلال کرد. روز ملی تونگا چهارم ژوئیه، زادروز پادشاه این کشور است. این کشور در سال 1970 به عضویت کشورهای مشترک‌المنافع و در سال 1999 به عضویت سازمان ملل متحد درآمده است. #استقلال

❇️ اولین قانون اساسی در سال 1875 تدوین شده که همچنان با اصلاحات به کار خود ادامه می دهد.

❇️ THE EUROPEAN CONSORTIUM FOR POLITICAL RESEARCH

Conference format
The Academic Programme will be organised in the format of Sections and Panels. Each Section will contain a variety of Panels in a given field. There will also be an Open Section, consisting of standalone Panels and Papers which do not necessarily fit within any of the accepted Sections. The programme will be very broad, with Sections covering all the main areas of political science, including comparative politics, public policy and public administration, political theory, international relations and European studies.

Proposals process
There is a two-stage process for submitting proposals:

All Panel proposals must include 3–5 Papers. (Papers submitted as part of a Panel do not need to be resubmitted individually.) There will not be a separate call for Papers. Anyone wishing to propose a Paper individually will need to propose it to a specific Section. If approved, the Section Chair will then allocate it to an appropriate Panel. Individuals may perform the function of Section Chair, Panel Chair and Discussant only once. Paper Presenters can present no more than two Papers. Each Section should have two Chairs.
