Who can remember the first album...or single they ever bought???
Perhaps you waited in the queues for hours on end on the release date of your favorite artist or band, excited to see what quirky art or hidden messages maybe on the album cover before hurrying home to crank up the Technics Stacker system and literally playing it to death! Haha😁😆😅
Well I hadn't felt that way about music in at least 20 years and then one day, I stumbled across a video of a cowboy fella with puppet strings attached, floating around the ISS....LOL.
I Turned up the volume and listened again......just who the hell is this hillbilly guy with such good knowledge about real space facts, I thought.
🤣Fuck me he's funny and bang on point....it soon became apparent, he was the flat earth man.
(Still a hillbilly in my mind at this point)
Well....I played the songs off that flat earth man album literally to death.
When I listened to it, so did my neighbours and everyone around me!😁
It came at a time when I'd had a massive row about NASA with a mate, so when I heard, "I don't wanna talk about NASA"....well it gave me HUGE joy man......if it was 1997, I would have nlbeen off down HMV and bought a copy there and then.
But it isn't 1997 and there is no HMV.
I just downloaded the tracks off YouTube for free and thought nothing of it.
It was then I heard "I told you so, by Conspiracy Music Guru,
which popped up in suggested for you.
Who the hell is this guy?
What a belter of a tune.
I'm gonna cut to the chase, the flat earth man wasn't a texas hillbilly, it was none other than British.... Alex Michael, the conspiracy music guru.
Alex was kind enough to upload his stuff for free on youtube.....It really brought me joy at the time and still does now!
My point, every now and again......if you believe in something....and you stand for something, stop talking shit and put your money where your mouth is!😁😁😉
If you want to know more about Alexs upcoming True Solfeggio album, volume 2, check his website.
As you know, I've been showing support for many artists.
I urge you to do the same.
I guess the point being, if we don't support the artists we love to listen to from time to time, eventually they will vanish. - Liam Stoneley

I agree with Joe Bonamassa, these streaming platforms are killing artists.
The video above was absolutely fascinating, proud to call Steve Falconer a friend
