The alignment procedures have been finished as well as base cleaning. Now all bolts are covered with a varnish to get stuck in their proper positions
In addition to the base maintenance cost of $160 (it is $170 since this year started) i've replaced two scratched mirrors with original ones, added the full frame fmc protective filter as a replacement to removed original protective windows with defects and replaced the poor condition eyepieces with new aligned Chinese eyepieces for $70. The total is $340, with 1 year warranty on alignment. The microscope was purchased on ebay for $300, and had a bunch of issues, i've described them in previous posts
