π₯ IBS - Key highlights
For Theory portion, search for the topic asked in the question from ICAI module index and write answer directly. To add some value you can include analysis in your language as per the requirement of question.
For Practical portion, it's possible that it is taken from ICAI questions only. So better to go to the relevant question straightaway in ICAI sm. For that answer it is probable that you can get full marks.
Yes, If any question is new & you can't answer in book and if it takes long time then there is no harm to leave
But if you know about that particular concept then obviously write it in your language.
Something is always better than nothing.
Attempt full paper - Generally ICAI don't give full marks in every question , but attempting full paper increases your chances of getting marks and this can really help you to score good marks.
Maintain speed from starting.
In order to save time, Carry ICAI Module Index separately so that you won't need to open module again & again during the exam. Obviously Splicer will be of great help at this time.
Also you need not to invest too much time on finding a similar case study.Case studies rarely repeat. But questions may be direct & easy, and same could be easily found in ICAI material.
Apply this chronology to solve questions
1) first identify subject
2) find which chapter it belongs to
3) Refer the ICAI module ( u can easily find it from ICAI module index as well)
4) Answer with logic and analysis as per the requirement of question
- Paper pattern - Attempt 4 CS out of 5.
( Each case study 25 marks including 10 marks MCQ)
- MCQs 40 Marks
β οΈ Choose correct case study answers. If you choose to answer Case study 2,3,4,5 then plz don't mark mcqs in OMR for case study 1,2,3,4 out of pell mell. This is a very common mistake students do.
Stay Attentive
This is the last turn to secure for Jan 26 attempt!
Give it your bestβ¨
