I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

I once met a star
that shined more than the rest
maybe it was closer, or maybe it just felt at best
we talked for an hour ... or mostly I did
and it listened.
I told it about my secret
And hoped that maybe one day the person I talked about would meet it
and for once
the star would talk about my secret
And he would listen.
