طفلٌ يعاني قسوة الحرمانِ
يشكو الذي يلقاه للرحمنِ
قد مات والده وماتت أمه
والأهل قد صاروا بلا أوطانِ
أمسى يتيمًا تائهًا ومشردًا
طفلٌ بلا دارٍ ولا عنوانِ
يمشي على ذاك الرصيف مرددًا
يا موطني عذرًا لكل هوانِ
