- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has developed Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software named Parallel RANS Solver for Aerospace Vehicle Aero-thermo-dynamic Analysis (PraVaHa).
- This software was developed in ISRO’s Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).
🔹2. Himachal Pradesh Fire -
- A prolonged dry spell and unusually high temperatures across Himachal Pradesh have triggered several wildfires.
- The government data show as many as 1,318 forest fire outbreaks this year in a state.

- According to the Commerce Ministry data, the Netherlands has emerged as India’s third largest export destination after the U.S. and UAE during 2023-24.
- Even though, India’s merchandise exports contracted by 3.1% in 2023-24.
🔹2. Usha Thorat Committee to review Clearing Corporations -
- SEBI has formed an ad-hoc committee under Usha Thorat to review the ownership and economic structure of clearing corporations and suggest measures to ensure the corporations function as resilient, independent and neutral risk managers.
- The 2018 report of the committee on the review of regulations and relevant circulars about Market Infrastructure institutions (MIIs), headed by R. Gandhi (referred to as Gandhi Committee).

🔹1. Ferocious Dogs -
- The Madras High Court restrained the Union Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying from taking a final decision on the ongoing process of collecting objections and comments from people on classifying certain breeds of dogs as “ferocious and dangerous to human life” and consequently banning their import and breeding.
- The Ministry could continue to collect the objections and comments but should not take any final decision.
🔹2. Tele MANAS cell -
- A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministries of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and Defence to facilitate collaboration between them in operating a special cell of Tele MANAS.
- The National Telemental Health Helpline of the MoHFW will be provided as a pilot project for two years at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune.
