started the day w thinking about palestine and israel and how religion is playing such a terrifying role in it and palestine will literally never be free??? like none of the things ppl r doing is WORKING? for decades now. and how israel is like yaaaas democracy yaaaaas freedom and the ppl r mostly ultra religious and homophobic and its not even changing

I think one of the things I adore about literature but mostly poetry is that its not quite like anything else. you can love anything, no one can call you wrong for feeling feelings. it doesn’t have to be good, it absolutely doesn’t need to be winning any awards. it doesn’t even have to be connected to anyone, writer or muse. it can exist solely on its own and in nowhere but your heart.

truly adore mundane works lately. ordinary days described by a a person living life experimentally. a love affair with the basic principles, boy meets boy, boy falls in love with the boy, boy leaves boy. or a very basic fight. childish words and scratches, having hot tea afterwards. i love reading about these, watching them happen, see a glimpse of it in a postcard or painting.

to be clear I like these works with originality. I don’t like tropes mushed in together to fake an experience never lived by the author.
