patriarchy forces you to think of men, to value men, to have an identity around men. you’re a man’s mother, a man’s sister, a man’s wife and a man’s daughter, it makes sense that a lot of finding your identity and sexuality is not just the interest in women but the disinterest in men. But at the same time I worry way too many queer women are still identifying themselves centering men, in this case their repulsion to men and that’s not any more feminist or freeing imo.

like how bisexual and other m-spec women act like having a preference towards men somehow makes them less gay and less valid and instead they overemphasis on how much they LOVE women and BOOBS and all women r pretty, they’re better at sex, they give them no icks, etc etc while giving themselves the freedom to have a very detailed taste in men.
and it’s comphet in some cases, but also not comphet in others.
