📢 The Middle East Youth Conference has started
After the participants have introduced themselves, the opening speech was given by Medya Yusif, a member of the preparatory committee. Close to 100 participants listened to messages from abroad that were read out and watched video messages of organizations that could not participate physically. The conference will continue today and tomorrow with discussions and workshops on the role of the youth in solving the pressing issues of our time.

Successful first day of the Middle East Youth Conference
In panels on “War and Crisis in the Middle East and North Africa” & “Crisis in the Middle East, Ways and Means of Women's Struggle” we had the opportunity to sharpen our analysis of the current situation and exchange perspectives from different angles. It is already clear now how important it is, especially for us as youth, to get to know each other and connect our struggles.
After a successful first day of the conference, a cultural program provided a fitting conclusion.
Tomorrow, the conference will continue with various workshops. The focus will be on the search for possible solutions and alternatives to existing problems, our role as young people and especially the role of young women in the struggle for an alternative to capitalism, crisis and war.

On June 15th 2023 the guerrillas Asya from Turkey and Azad from German fell martyr in the mountains of Xakurkê. As Internationalists they gave the most meaningful answer to colonialism and oppression.
