// position title
- Internal Communications Intern
// the job
- You will be working with the Internal Comms Manager and the larger Communications team. Internal Comms is a relatively new set-up at Grab, so you will have the opportunity incubate this new function together. If you’re not scrappy, hungry and willing to experiment - this isn’t quite for you. But if you’re persistent, resourceful and willing to roll up your sleeves - tell me why this is for you!
- In this role, you will be supporting the management of a program of Internal Communications across the region. This includes Townhalls, Leadership Advances, Ask Me Anything sessions and organisational communications.
- You will be supporting the curation, creation and coordination of content to increase engagement and alignment across our 8 offices in Southeast Asia.
- You will work across teams and countries to get the right stories to serve at the right time
- We will have some infrastructure in place, but we’re flying the plane as we build it - so this role will be best for those who are comfortable with ambiguity, and a ‘find a way, or make a way’ attitude
// day-to-day activities
- Support the leading of quarterly Townhall agendas across our 8 markets - working closely with the in-country People Operations teams and Internal Communications Manager
- Gather data from different offices on their communications needs and propose hyperlocal communications experiences as needed
- Support the planning of the content calendar for scaleable and small group communications, and the execution of such communications initiatives
// function requirements
- Ideally a duration of 6 months, starting anytime now
- Expert multi-tasker and experience with project management - you will be working with various teams across Grab and the region, managing events and multiple timelines. You must be able to multitask and coordinate!
- Creativity, grit, hunger and a passion for engaging, delighting and surprising our Grabbers - you have the opportunity to shape communications across a fast-growing company - bring your all to the table!

Hi all - Kai here. Added info on the full-time, straight from Ogilvy:
Am specifically looking for someone to join my team where we handle primarily corporate reputation work (I.e. C-suite engagement and profiling, crisis and issues management) for more complex industries like finance and insurance, transportation and agriculture which I also recognise may not suit everyone.
That said, these are also big agency clients which present opportunities for the person to work on integrated accounts, deepen skills in both PR and social as a priority, and work across the network.
PM @kaitsi and I'll put you in touch.
