Kenny was prompted to download a script file as a supposed update. Recognizing the threat, he left the call immediately and attempted to verify the contact through Telegram—only to find that all previous messages had been deleted and he had been blocked.

The scam tactic aligns with patterns seen in attacks by the North Korean hacker group Lazarus.
