I used to hear people saying that API's for some social media's are expensive, but $42k a month for an API on Instagram or X is CRAZY!!

In days like this, just remember,

If you have money for food, WiFi, air conditioning, a laptop/phone, and a roof over your head,
You’re quite literally in the top .00001% of the world.

Be grateful.

At the point of literal exhaustion, I say to myself that I will rest after I complete a specific couple of tasks at least.

Does this affect the quality of the work?
How would you deal with this situations?

The new Telegram UI feels more iphonish but still it is really nice

I just made a basic redesign for the YouTube UI and experimented a lot to get to this point.
I am loving this thing.

One thing I’ve realized lately is this:
Feeling like you have big potential but doing nothing with it will actually make your life worse.

At least some people are comfortable in their own skin. They’ve accepted the life they want to live and act accordingly, whatever that action may be.
But if you believe you’re meant for big things and still act in the opposite way, that’s ego. And it slowly eats at you.

Because every day passes and you’re still in the same place not moving while others who started with you are at least trying. And whether they’re making progress or not, their effort alone will make you question yourself.

So in my opinion, the solution is simple:
Either start doing something about your “big goals” or be honest enough to admit you don’t actually want them.

You don’t have to agree BTW.

What Peter Steinberger did was a strong proof things can happen.
1 man. ~3 months. 10-20k/month loss on APIs.
Get acquired by OpenAI for 8 to 9 figure.
And the most important thing, make it stay open source.
Wild.

All this time I had thought that delusion was the path to success

It kinda is

But there's a better word for it: ignorance

You need to be ignorant of everything else. Unlike delusion which makes you think that you only need to make your self feel better. Ignorance is very actionable and you can measure how ignorant you are of things unrelated to your success

The foundation of knowledge is ignorance. And to do something difficult you don't increase your knowledge you increase your ignorance. And even try to destroy the knowledge you have.
Did anybody notice this?
When you open a video on telegram itself, it consumes a lot of ram power.

Is it only for me?

Huh! Search?
Is it that complex?
