Dear Members of the Japanese Community,

We are pleased to announce that we have officially commenced the re-onboarding process for our valued Japanese members who registered before January 9th, 2024, and were affected by the transliteration issue.

Once you receive your vouchers, you can begin the process to verify your documents and re-register on the Ping Exchange platform. It is crucial that you follow the steps outlined below precisely:

Back Up Seed Phrase: Ensure that you have access and written down your seed phrase prior to starting the process. If you have not written down your seed phrase, you can find it in the settings section under Back up and Seed Phrase.

Account Deletion/Reinstallation:
Navigate to settings and delete your account or alternatively, reinstall the application.

📱First Screen After Re-Installing the Application:
Upon opening the application, you will be presented with two options: "Recover now" and "Don't recover." Please select the "Don't recover" option. A notification will pop up asking "Are you sure?". Confirm by selecting "I don't want to recover."

📲Account Recovery:
You will then see a screen offering the options "Create Account" and "Recover Account." Please choose "Recover Account" at the bottom of the screen.

📥Seed Phrase Input:
Enter your Seed Phrase accurately. you will then be prompted to provide a pin, use THE SAME PIN as what you used before when you innitially created the account.

🔖Document Verification:
Your account will now be updated with Vouchers for your previously verified documents and information, provided at no extra charge. Please verify these documents again.

⏱Wait for Minting:
Allow some time for your documents and information to be processed and minted.

👥KYC on Ping Exchange:
Log in to Ping Exchange and proceed with the new KYC process.

✅Compliance Approval:
Finally, allow our compliance officers adequate time to review and approve your recovered account.
