PayPal is officially back in Nigeria for receiving international payments through its partnership with Paga.
For years, Nigerians could only make payments with PayPal but couldn't easily receive money. That's now changing through the official PayPal–Paga integration. If you're a freelancer, remote worker, online entrepreneur, or creator, this could make getting paid much easier.
Here's how to set it up:
1️⃣ Download the Paga app from the Play Store or App Store and create an account.
💡 Important: If you already have a PayPal account, use the same email address on your Paga account whenever possible. Keeping your account details consistent helps make the linking process smoother.
2️⃣ Open the Paga app and tap the account dropdown on your dashboard. Select the PayPal (USD) option.
3️⃣ Tap Connect PayPal and follow the prompts. Confirm your identity by providing the requested information.
4️⃣ If you're creating a new PayPal account, complete the verification process with the OTP, create your password, and finish the setup.
