For a long time, Iβve been wondering why local e-commerce still isnβt common across Ethiopian cities and communitiesβplaces like Ambo, Woliso, Adama, Asella, and even around university campuses. We already buy and sell through Telegram, Facebook, and word of mouth, so why not make it easier with one local marketplace?
A friend of mine who works at Ethiopian Airlines asked me to build a Telegram Mini App for his business. He sources products from different parts of the world and sells them locally, and the idea has already been working well around Addis Ababa, Adama, Dire Dawa, and Asella.
That experience pushed me to take the idea further.
Now Iβm cooking DealArada π β a local e-commerce platform where people can buy and sell products in their own cities and communities. The vision is to grow it from a website into a full platform and app.

what an adventure.
the agency had a really good run too. we managed to get 6+ client projects and crossed 500k+ in revenue, which still feels kinda crazy to say.
learned a LOT from the whole experience dealing with clients, managing projects, handling all the little things that come with running an agencyβ¦ at this point, i might actually become a great PM someday ig π

but probably my favorite part of the summer was just trying things. some worked, some failed, some went completely differently than expected⦠and somehow, all of it taught me something.
