I recently took on a scalable project for the Adama City Kefeta Youth Center. It's a big youth technology center established through the collaboration of USAID, ASTU, Adama City Administration and the Oromia Science and Technology Authority.
The funny part is... I'm literally the only developer on the project mn lemalet nw Andi ij tatbo aychebecheb ngr honobgn nwπ
Every day I realize I have to be:
Product Manager
UI/UX Designer
Business & Revenue Planner
Ante... this is crazy part π
So if you're a UI/UX designer or you're learning UI design and want real project experience and you're willing to help (volunteer), please DM me.

ETHIOPIAβS πͺπΉ AI ERA IS STARTING.
Everyone is talking about AI.
But something deeper is happening in Ethiopia.
From iCog Labs and AGI research to Addis AI, Hasab AI, Gheero and emerging African-language LLM research, Ethiopian builders are starting to attack one of the biggest problems in AI:
How do we make machines understand Africa?
Amharic. Afaan Oromo. Tigrinya. Somali.
Our data. Our culture. Our problems. Our people.
At the same time, EAII, INSA, universities and Ethiopiaβs upcoming AI University are building the talent and institutional foundation.
And Ethiopia already has a growing digital layer β telebirr, Chapa, ArifPay, ZayRide, BeU and many others.
The next step is connecting that infrastructure with intelligence.
LLMs β AI Agents β Advanced AI β AGI.
Maybe Ethiopia won't build the biggest model in the world.
But what if we build the AI that understands Africa better than anyone else?
πͺπΉ The race has already started.

What makes me upset is the revenue generation problem for our products in Ethiopia. This shit must be solved, or with this inflation, weβre gonna be beggars soon.
Build products, but also learn how to fucking make money from them.

Itβs fucking frustrating being Ethiopian when weβve lost the freedom to move freely in our own country.
You canβt just go out, work, learn, travel, or move to where the opportunities are without worrying about Afesa and restrictions.
How the fuck are young people supposed to build a future when even freedom of movement feels like a privilege?
We donβt need more restrictions. We need freedom to move, work, learn, and build. πͺπΉ
