የሰኔ ወር ሲቃረብ “ዘንድሮ ሰኔ አንድ በምን ይውላል?” ብሎ የማይጠይቅ የለም። በተለይ ደግሞ አጋጥሞ ቀኑ “ሰኞ” መሆኑ ከተሰማ... የብዙዎቻችን ልብ ትርታ ይጨምራል፣ የየካፌውና የየአጥቢያው የቡና ወሬ በዚሁ ይሞቃል።
“ሰኔና ሰኞ ሳይገጥም አይቀርም” እየተባለ የሚነገረው ይሄ የታሪክ ‘እርግማን’ ወይስ ተራ የአጋጣሚዎች መገጣጠም? እስኪ ወደ ኋላ ተመልሰን የታሪኩን ጉድ እንፈትሽ።
📜 ከሸዋው ቤተ-መንግስት እስከ ዛሬዋ ኢትዮጵያ
ነገሩ እንዲህ ነው... ታሪኩ የሚመዘዘው ከ19ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን መጀመሪያ፣ ከሸዋው መሪድ አዝማች ውሰን ሰገድ ዘመን ነው። በወቅቱ የነበሩ ባለራዕዮችና ጠንቋዮች ለንጉሱ፦ “የአንተ ውድቀት ወይም የሀገሪቱ ታላቅ መከራ የሚመጣው ሰኔ እና ሰኞ እጅና ጓንት ሆነው ሲመጡ ነው” የሚል አስፈሪ ትንቢት ይነግሯቸዋል።
የሚገርመው... ከዓመታት በኋላ ሰኔ 1 ቀን ሰኞ ላይ ሲውል፣ ንጉሱ በገዛ አገልጋያቸው እጅ በድንገት ተገደሉ። ከዚያን ጊዜ ጀምሮ ይሄ ቀን እንደ ሀገር “ክፉ ነገር ይዞ ይመጣል” ተብሎ በህዝብ ዘንድ መፈራት ጀመረ።
ለምን እስካሁን ድረስ ከአእምሯችን ጠፋ?
የክረምቱ መግቢያ፦ ሰኔ የከባድ ዝናብና የጭጋግ መጀመሪያ ነው። በጥንት ጊዜ ሰኔ እና ሰኞ በገጠሙ ቁጥር የመጣው ጎርፍ ሰብል ካጠፋ ወይም ወረርሽኝ ከተከሰተ፣ ህዝቡ በቀጥታ ከቀኑ ‘እርግማን’ ጋር ያያይዘው ነበር።
የቅርብ ጊዜው አስደንጋጭ ማስታወሻ (2012 ዓ.ም)፦ በቅርብ ዓመታት የዚህ እምነት ትልቅ ማረጋገጫ ተደርጎ የሚወሰደው የ2012 ዓ.ም የሰኔ አንድ ሰኞ መዋል ነበር። ማስታወስ አይከብድም... ኮቪድ-19 የገባው፣ የፌንጣና የአንበጣ መንጋ ሀገሪቱን የወረረው፣ እና አስፈሪ የፖለቲካ ውጥረቶች የተከሰቱት በዚያኑ ሰሞን ነበር። ለብዙዎች “ትንቢቱ እውነት ነው!” የሚያሰኝ አጋጣሚ ነበር።
💡 እውነታው ምንድን ነው?
ሳይንሱና ሃይማኖቱ ይህንን እንደ “የቀን መጥፎ የለውም” እና እንደ ተራ ‘አጉል እምነት’ (Superstition) ቢያዩትም፣ በማኅበረሰባችን ውስጥ ግን እንደ ትልቅ የጥንቃቄ እና የንቃተ-ህሊና ምልክት ሆኖ ኖሯል። አባቶቻችን “ክፉውን ሰምተህ በቅንነት ተዘጋጅ” እንደሚሉት ዓይነት ማለት ነው።
