Program Timeline

This will be a non-stop 24-hour coding hackathon.

Schedule
- Starts: Friday 2:00 pm
- Ends: Saturday 9:00 pm
The program runs continuously with no sleep and no breaks
Participants will remain in their assigned rooms until Saturday afternoon

Program Flow
Focus areas will be provided by the organizers
Mentors will help participants, including beginners.

Guys, I teamed up with some amazing people, and we’re building a Smart HR Information and Employment Management System for Ambo University.
Out of 10 teams, we’re the only team that finished everything in under 12 hours, and we’re already close to the implementation stage.
We added cool features like a helping chatbot, complaint system, voice recording, multilingual support, and many more.
Feeling proud of the team and confident we’re one of the top teams in the Ambo University Cursor Hackathon 🚀

Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed announced the launch of Ethiopia’s first AI University the first of its kind in Africa.
The program will admit 2% Ethiopian students and 2 students from each African country through scholarships, including opportunities for the Ethiopian diaspora.
This is part of the Ethiopia 2030 vision.
I truly hope this vision becomes a reality.
