It doesn't always rain in Arizona, but Arizona was recently blessed with rain and gorgeous scenes.

I have been going door to door in the most rural areas of Arizona.

Frequently we have no access to hotels or even running water. We stay in tents on many nights and are able to meet constituents in extremely remote areas.

Met an older lady with a flat tire on a remote desert road.

We helped her fix the tire and gave her some campaign materials to share with her family.

My campaign is probably the only campaign to go door to door on the Navajo Nation.

Talking with Navajo elders about the issues of the indigenous people brings tears to my eyes.

One elder told me that loneliness is his biggest issue. Every morning he prepares a meal for visitors that he hopes will stop by his house, but nobody ever shows up... until one day I ended up knocking on his door.

He was so happy to see me that he immediately invited me in and we spent hours discussing the issues facing the indigenous people.

Indigenous people can vote for me with confidence. I will always try to understand the unique indigenous issues before voting on legislation that affects indigenous lands and culture.

Traversing the maze-like roads of the rural areas on the Navajo Nation enables us to meet voters who have never met a politician or ever have someone come to their house to ask about their issues.
