Responsibilities:
- Assist the Cyber Team in identifying and addressing potential security vulnerabilities and threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing of our systems and applications to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential security incidents and respond appropriately.
- Collaborate with other members of the Cyber Team to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to protect our systems and applications.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
