I love Telegram bots! When I joined AASTU as a freshman, one of my side projects was to build a Telegram translation bot. Initially, I wanted to create an Amharic translator from scratch, but that wasn’t feasible, so I used APIs and focused on the bot. The bot features live translation using Telegram’s inline query.

Now, Telegram bots are reaching another level with web apps. Before moving forward, I’m open-sourcing all the old bots I’ve developed. I’ve merged everything into one bot: @horan_ai_bot.

It includes:
Free translation, Grammar fix, Media management (YouTube, TikTok downloader)

Think of it as multiple bots in one! The main client bot is built with Node.js, and the API bot (for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram downloader) is built with Python and Flask.

I’ll clean up the code for the APIs and open-source them soon. To host the bots and APIs, you’ll need a server that supports Node.js 20+ and Python 3.11.

This client bot mainly help you to get organized code for user management (with backend Supabase), telegram bot inline buttons, inline query, and for grammar fix you only need to paste your OpenAI API Key.

This website needs an update.
It reminds me of Internet programming course where we were asked to build a website using only HTML (no CSS or frameworks allowed). We even used invisible tables to organize content into rows and columns! 🤣
