The social media management at our university(AASTU) is getting worse.
It feels somewhat unprofessional. In an era where organizations strive to engage audiences with quality content and showcase their institution's excellence, our approach falls short.
This includes the content of social media posts and the official website.

For AASTU, it is the opposite—the stories presented are akin to political news, and the naming of channels and pages is confusing (usernames on most social media), with unverified pages.

My motivation for writing this is spurred by today’s two posts:
1. An edited man (at right) was added to image that looks unprofessional.
2. They posted a 'scan me' QR code without a description or link, forcing you to download the image and scan it, only to be directed to a website full of advertisements. 🤧

Forming best social media and content creation team is not hard task for such large organization, in my opinion.
This needs attention. ❗️

📱Figma's AI Design Tool Paused After Apple Copycat Claims.

📣Figma AI was announced last week, claiming to “empower designers with intelligent tools.

⚠️However, it appears that using it could be extremely legally perilous.

Figma's new AI tool for creating app designs has been temporarily shut down after it was caught copying Apple's Weather app. The tool was supposed to generate original designs based on text prompts, but instead, it kept churning out clones of Apple's app.

🤔This has sparked a debate about AI's impact on the design industry, with some fearing job losses and others seeing it as a tool to boost creativity.
