Day 3: Deep Dive into Safaricom

Our third day in Nairobi was an immersive experience at Safaricom. We started with an in-depth look at their access network department, where we learned about the processes that ensure seamless connectivity for millions. We then explored the VAS support department, discussing the latest innovations in mobile services and their impact on user experience.

The highlight of the day was our deep dive into Safaricom's cybersecurity wing. Here, we gained hands-on insights into their advanced threat detection and response systems. The experts shared their strategies for mitigating cyber risks, which was both educational and inspiring.

We are immensely grateful to safaricom for their hospitality and the invaluable knowledge they shared. This experience has equipped us with new skills and ideas that we look forward to applying in our future projects.We also thank visit Oromia for making this possible

Day 4 : A meeting with Ambassador Bacha Debele

The fourth and final day was the pinnacle of our journey. We were honored to meet Ambassador Bacha Debele at the Ethiopian Embassy in Nairobi. During our discussion, we covered tourism sector issues and regional integration across East Africa. Ambassador Debele's insights were enlightening and motivating, reinforcing the importance of our work and its potential impact on Ethiopia's tourism industry.

As our experience-sharing journey concluded, we took a moment to reflect on the incredible opportunities provided to us. We express our deepest gratitude to the Visit Oromia team for organizing this life-changing experience and to Safaricom for their generous support and knowledge-sharing. A special thanks goes to the Ethiopian Embassy in Kenya for their warm welcome and invaluable discussions on our final day. This journey has not only enriched our professional skills but also inspired us to contribute more significantly to our communities and the tourism sector.
