Follow us on our official social media outlets (Telegram, LinkedIn, Youtube, and Twitter)
I'm always impressed by the supportive environment in Software Engineering at AASTU. The people are amazing; even though the academics are challenge, you will benefit from the community. I've spoken a couple of times on welcome events to fresh joiners in this department.😊

There are a lot of untold stories of successful students here. I hope other #departments learn from this and help juniors by sharing experiences. 🌟

I'm always impressed by the supportive environment in Software Engineering at AASTU. The people are amazing; even though the academics are challenge, you will benefit from the community. I've spoken a couple of times on welcome events to fresh joiners in this…
Keynote from the guests, Ibsa, Dagmawi, and Ruth:😊

1. "Imposter syndrome is common, and you should feel it. If you are at the top and don't have anything to learn in one place, you are in the wrong place. But don't compare yourself with others. Embrace the discomfort of growth; it's a sign of progress and an opportunity to evolve."

2. "Learn to say no; take care of yourself. Your well-being is not a luxury; it's a necessity. Saying no is not a weakness but a strength that preserves your energy for what truly matters."

3. "Don't try to follow everyone's path; don't try to learn everything at the same time. We all have our learning preferences; stay calm. Focus on your journey, prioritize what resonates with you, and understand that growth is a gradual process."

4. "If you are not interested in software, at least give it a try. The department itself may be boring, but if you make it your hobby, you will get the most out of it. Find the passion within the subject; it's often the key to unlocking its true potential."

5. "Make sure there are three types of people in your surroundings: the ones we learn from, the ones equal to us, and the ones we help. Surround yourself with a diverse network that fosters continuous learning, mutual support, and personal growth."

6. "Take action for things you want to do in life. Knowledge itself is nothing; convert it into solving problems, at least your own. Apply what you learn; transform information into practical solutions that contribute to your personal and professional development."

7. "Life is bigger and temporary. Be grateful for your growth. "
