Microsoft Is In Talks To ACQUIRE A 49% Stake Worth $10 billion In ChatGPT Owner OpenAI β€” This Is A Big Deal 🀯

Microsoft would receive 75% of OpenAI’s income until it has recovered its initial investment, good terms for the tech giant.

Once they hit that threshold, they would have a 49% stake in OpenAI, with other investors taking another 49% and OpenAI's nonprofit parent getting 2%.

OpenAI is currently raising funds at a $29 billion valuation and is allowing employees along with early investors to sell their shares at the that valuation.

They are expected to generate ~1 Billion in revenue in 2024

Microsoft will look to add OpenAI’s Chatbot, ChatGPT’s AI tech to Bing, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Deepmind has been a leading Al research lab for Google and world, but this time the chatbot Sparrow is probably getting ready to compete with ChatGPT.

For eg. Microsoft is looking to integrate ChatGPT into its products like Bing, Google might Integrate the tech into YouTube, and other Google products.
