The feeds, the fights, the next shiny crisis.
Meanwhile the pressure is shifting.
Something that never needed light is deciding the dark is finished.
No name yet.
No shape the instruments can agree on.
Just a slow, patient rise from the places maps still leave blank.
Don’t look for it on the surface.
The surface is the distraction.
When the first real wake appears,
most will still be arguing about yesterday’s noise.
The sea doesn’t care about our schedule.
It only cares about its own.
