This is my channel and I’m Ermi.
A freshman at AAU, really into aerospace and software engineering.

I use this space to share my ideas, the challenges I run into, and my journey as I try to grow in both fields.

In the next episodes of our session on solar system, we try to see into the planets rather than the sun.

We divide them based on their distance from the sun into:
-> The rocky (terrestrial) planets
-> The astsroid belts and
-> The gas planets (the gas giants)

Then we finalize the core session and try to see for relating researches and topics like, road to Mars and road to moon.

If holidays are like this in AAU, I will never miss them😁

Some hooks from the episodes for you to check them out:

Mercury
the smallest planet and the closest to the Sun
Venus
reflects sunlight so effectively that it is the brightest natural object in our night sky after the Moon.
Earth
is the only terrestrial planet with active plate tectonics
Mars
is the transition point between the rocky inner worlds and the cold void beyond
Jupitor
It is so large that all the other planets could fit inside it twice over.
Saturn
is less dense than water
Uranus
While other planets spin like tops, Uranus rolls like a ball
Neptune
Here, diamond rains

A simple question.
Do you think AGI will be succeeded by 2042?

Who expects a "masterpiece" when opening an engineering book to solve applied math problems?

When I saw the quote on the cover page, it took me back to my primary school days.

I remember a time during the break between Grade 6 and 7. My Amharic teacher and his friends lent me some Amharic fiction books to read over the winter. One of his friends, whose name I sadly can’t recall, was a blind Amharic language teacher I deeply admired. We used to have meaningful discussions on different topics before and after class.

One of the books he lent me was β€œα‹¨α‰…αŠ” ውበቡ” by αŠ¨α‰ α‹° ሚካኀል. It was far beyond what I expected at that age. I remember thinking, β€œCan poetry really be written like this?” The rhythm and storytelling were incredibly powerful. It felt like the words spoke directly to your soul.

That masterpiece inspired me to write my own poetic drama in Grade 9. I even followed a more β€œprofessional” workflow and shared it with my former teachers for evaluation.
If you enjoy poetry, history, and want something engaging without too much mental fatigue, I highly recommend that book.

And it made me happy seeing this quote on a cover page of engineering book😊
