The Law of Defensiveness When someone criticizes you, what's your first reaction? Do you immediately rush to justify yourself? The truth is, our defensiveness usually comes from three core beliefs that make up our identity: 1. I am autonomous. I make my…
Believe me, guys, if you want to live in society in peace and be respected, you have to understand and apply these rules.
Self-Sabotage....Do you ever feel like you're not enough?
Your attitude shapes your life. It can either work for you or against you.
Imagine walking into a room already believing you don't belong. You'll hesitate, doubt yourself, and unconsciously behave in ways that reinforce that belief.
Now imagine walking into that same room believing you belong—that you're welcome. You'll carry yourself differently. You'll speak with more confidence, connect with people more naturally, and attract others like a pleasant fragrance.
Our attitudes often become self-fulfilling.
Some attitudes that lead to self-sabotage include:
- The hustler who can never rest.
- The anxious person who expects the worst.
- The avoidant who runs from discomfort.
- The depressed person who believes nothing will change.
- The resentful person who blames everyone else.
The important thing to remember is this: your attitude is not your identity—it is a habit.
And habits can change.
Sometimes it takes a breakup, a major failure, or a personal crisis to break old patterns. But you don't have to wait for a disaster to change yourself.
Start with small shifts in your daily actions. Small changes, repeated consistently, can transform the way you think, act, and ultimately live.

Do you know what I am feeling? We are in the age of information and have an idea of almost everything. The things I am writing above are not new for me or for any of you, but they are also things that can change our lives. But we are taking them for granted because we think we already know.
So, please, please read it again and again until you get the exact point where you can apply it in your life.
So, please, please read it again and again until you get the exact point where you can apply it in your life.
How do you know who someone really is?
Don't listen to what people say. Watch what they repeatedly do.
We all wear masks. The version of you at work, with friends, or on LinkedIn isn't necessarily fake—it's an adaptation. But behind every mask is a shadow: the insecurities, fears, and desires we try to hide.
The funny thing is, the shadow always leaks out. It appears in accidental behaviors, emotional reactions, jealousy, or the gap between words and actions.
Another mistake we make is over-idealizing people. We convince ourselves they're perfect, ignore the red flags, and then blame them when our illusion falls apart.
And don't forget the mirror effect. Sometimes the qualities you admire—or hate—in others are reflections of something inside you.
So if you want to understand people, stop listening to promises. Watch their patterns. That's where human nature reveals itself.

If you have Hp ELITEBOOK
The 80/20 protection mechanisms
1. Control heat (most important)
Heat shortens the life of the battery, SSD, motherboard, and VRMs.
Do:
-Use the laptop on a hard surface.
-Keep air vents unobstructed.
-Clean the vents every 3–6 months.
-Use a cooling pad only if temperatures are consistently high.
2. Protect the battery aggressively
EliteBooks usually have good battery management, but habits still matter.
Best practice
-Keep charge between 20% and 80% for daily use.
-If plugged in most of the time, enable HP Battery Health Manager in BIOS.
-Path:
BIOS → Advanced → Power Management → Battery Health Manager-Choose Maximize my battery health.
Avoid:
-Constant 100% charge for months.
-Draining to 0% regularly.
-Cheap third‑party chargers.
3. Use the correct charger
-Use the original HP USB‑C or barrel charger.
-If using USB‑C, ensure it supports USB‑PD with sufficient wattage (45W/65W depending on model).
-Undersized chargers cause:
-Battery cycling while plugged in.
-Extra heat.
-Slower charging.
4. Keep the SSD healthy
-SSDs hate being completely full.
-Keep 15–20% free space.
-Do not run disk defragmentation on SSDs manually.
-Ensure TRIM is enabled.
Linux:
sudo systemctl enable fstrim.timerWindows: “Optimize Drives” should show Solid State Drive and run TRIM automatically.
5. Dust maintenance schedule
For an EliteBook used daily:
-Task
-Interval
-Clean keyboard and screen
Weekly
-Blow dust from vents
Monthly
-Open back and clean fan
Every 6 months
-Replace thermal paste
Every 2–3 years
-If you're using Omarchy/Arch Linux, I would definitely open and clean the fan every 6 months if you compile packages, run Docker, Odoo, Android Studio, or AI tools.
6. Avoid liquid and humidity damage
This is one of the most common causes of motherboard failure.
No drinks beside the laptop.
If traveling, use a padded sleeve.
Avoid leaving it in a hot car or humid room.
7. BIOS and firmware updates
For EliteBooks, firmware matters.
Update:
BIOS
Thunderbolt firmware (if applicable)
SSD firmware
Do this 2–3 times per year, not every week.
Use HP Support Assistant on Windows, or download updates from HP’s support page.
8. Use surge protection
Ethiopian power quality can be inconsistent.
Use:
A surge protector, or better,
A small UPS if you work during outages.
This protects the charger and motherboard from voltage spikes.
9. Reduce mechanical stress
Don’t pick up the laptop by one corner.
Open the lid from the center.
Don’t carry it while it is running heavy workloads.
Use a backpack with a dedicated laptop compartment.
10. Software protection = hardware protection
A bloated system runs hotter.
For your use case (Next.js, Docker, Odoo, coding):
Disable unnecessary startup apps/services.
Limit browser tabs.
Use lightweight tooling where possible.
Reboot periodically.
On Linux:
Keep logs under control.
Remove unused Docker images.

Heard EliteBooks get damaged so quickly, so please take care of your PC.
I wish my heart could be purified the way my beloved Rasul's (ﷺ) heart was purified. I wish my qerin would embrace Islam. I wish I had the innocence of a child. I wish I were kinder, gentler, and softer.......😭

The weather is just so beautiful, and it's Jumu'ah. 🥰
I think today it's better to slow down, breathe, and reflect—to look at the sky, the earth, the plants, the people, the weather, life... and everything around us while listening to Sheikh Al-Minshawi and breathing slowly.
Let's slow down. Let's breathe.
