The character and manner of some people—the way they treat others, the way they interact with the world around them, their respect for every creature, their calmness, and their smile along with high self-awareness and self respect. Ahh🤌

I want to be this kind of person: calm and kind, always smiling, not by faking it but by truly being it. I want to have real satisfaction(رضى) with everything Allah has decided to put in my way.

Where do I learn manners? I think it is the highest level of intelligence and maturity.

My name is Nezira Worku, and I'm a 5th-year (2019) Software Engineering student at ASTU.

I'd describe myself as an ambivert. I enjoy spending time with people, but I also need my quiet time to think, learn, and build.

One thing you'll quickly notice about me is that I'm pretty bold. If I have an opinion, a crazy idea, or a question that's been living rent-free in my head, I'll probably bring it up.

I'm also curious about almost everything. Technology is my biggest interest, but I love learning about psychology, philosophy, productivity, business, AI, religion, and how people and systems work. If something teaches me how the world operates, I'm interested.

This channel is where I document my journey as I grow into a software engineer and share random thoughts that I think are worth discussing.

My background is rooted mainly in Awolia Islamic School, where I studied from Grades 5–10, before completing my preparatory education at Medhanealem High School.

I had a quiet childhood. As the youngest in my family, I spent a lot of time alone. I was extremely shy, avoided talking to people, and lived in a world of cartoons and kids' TV shows.

Around Grade 6, I feel like I truly woke up to life. I started reading more, paying attention to the kitabs I studied in madrasa, and taking the lessons from books and movies more seriously. That marked the beginning of many positive changes in my life.

Outside the classroom, I was almost always part of Mini Media because I loved sharing ideas. I also served in different Islamic activities through Awolia, the madrasa and Medhanealem Jemea, and took part in charity and volunteer work whenever I could.

I can fall in love with a good book, a beautiful flower, a cat, or a hardworking and kind person. But more than anything I have a soft spot for art, especially music(melody) and poetry. They express feelings that ordinary words can't.

What i hate it - too much socializing which drains me. I need solitude to recharge, reflect, and organize my thoughts. Once I've had that quiet time, I can give my best to the people around me.

About the forwarded content, I also hated it before having a channel of my own.

Then I realized they're not always about the post itself. Sometimes they're about helping a project, a creator, or an idea reach the person it's actually meant for. That one forward can lead to the right audience, a valuable connection, an internship, or even a job.

That said, for my regular thoughts and discussions, I'll do my best to keep them as original as possible.😇

and what does this G means sensei?
As for the other genuine comments and appreciations, thank you all.
Now let me answer some questions I get asked most of the time.
1. Where do you get this confidence and speaking ability?

As I mentioned before, my childhood was quiet and lonely.
Around Grade 6, I started changing the way I looked at the world. I became curious about almost everything. I also watched anime and read books that convinced me communication was one of the best skills I could invest in for my future.

Once I had that mindset, one day I simply decided to execute.
I forced myself to raise my hand and present things I wasn't prepared for. I forced myself to stand at the classroom entrance and greet everyone who walked in. I volunteered in Mini Media whenever I got the chance. In general, I started connecting being scared with taking action.

Eventually, the fear died. Then I moved on to refining my communication—my tone, my confidence, the way I structured my thoughts, and how I delivered them.

This one skill has helped me more than I ever expected. During my Jemea service, I spoke with school principals, government officials, mashayikhs, and even police officers. It helped me win pitches, build relationships, and earn people's trust.

So, from my perspective, if you want to become a better communicator, you don't need some hidden talent.

You need two things:
--The right mindset—which you probably already have if you're thinking about improving.
--And the courage to repeatedly do what makes you uncomfortable.

my tone, my confidence, the way I structured my thoughts, and how I delivered them
Now, after years of practicing, I think I can do most of it almost automatically, even without preparation.

Communication is one of the most important skills you can invest in. It's what gets you into almost every room in the world.

Whether it's a job interview, talking to customers, shareholders, government officials, running your own business, communicating with your family, your partner, your children, or even speaking to God—you need the right words, the right presentation, and the right timing.

So start today. Don't let the fear of judgment stop you. Every single person judging you today will be gone in a hundred or so years, and no one will remember your awkward or cringe moments.

But if you overcome that fear, you might become someone whose story history refuses to forget.
Let's discuss other things in another day. now who is online? Let's lock in
The thing is, I am on Windows and downloaded WSL for the Odoo project. I am working on it from the Ubuntu side. But now, I can't find my code folder anywhere on the computer. The only way is to cd to it through the terminal and open it from there 😫. I want to see it through the File Explorer.
Yep, if you ever thought to working on Odoo, don't forget to download patience from whatever resource you get when preparing the setup — you're gonna need it soooo much.
After all, pulling an all-nighter is not that bad; I guess I can apply for TMOCians at this rate.

Good morning, my people☀️
