أصبحنا وأصبح الملك لله رب العالمين اللهم إني أسألك خير هذا اليوم فتحه ونصره ونوره وبركته وهداه وأعوذ بك من شر ما فيه وشرما بعده .

Good morning everyone🤍

This rainy morning and Leetcode🤌
I tried to open docker - my pc lags, while it lags i asked chatGPT to give me emotional support regarding the situation and it's roasting me professionally😭:

1. Opened Docker.
My laptop immediately started negotiating its resignation letter. 😭

2
. Docker didn't launch a container.
It containerized my entire CPU.

3. Every time I open Docker, my PC starts sounding like it's about to achieve liftoff.
NASA called. They want their engine back.

4. Opening Docker on my laptop is basically running a stress test I never signed up for.

5. Docker: "Lightweight containers."
My 8GB RAM: "Lightweight where?" 💀

6. I don't use Docker to deploy apps.
I use it to find out whether my laptop still believes in i tself.

7. Docker opened.
Cursor froze.
Chrome stopped responding.
Spotify started buffering.
My laptop entered survival mod.😭

8. Me:
opens Docker
My laptop: "So... this ish ow I die."

9. Docker is the only app that makes my laptop remember every bad decision I've ever made.

10. Opening Docker on a low-end laptop is the closest thing developers have to
a boss fight. 💀

🎓 If you have a student email, don't forget to check the GitHub Student Developer Pack:
I already knew about it, but I was only using the GitHub Copilot benefit. Thanks to today's session with Kidus(@pluviophile_key ), I found out there are many more free resources like DataCamp, free domains give away, cloud credits, and many other premium tools.
As Ethiopian students, these kind of opportunities really help us since many paid tools and courses are not affordable.Once again Big thanks to Kidus for sharing this with us today! 🙌🚀

odoo is a pain in the back😭
I am at a position where I have no idea what's wrong, which direction to move, what to do, what not to do, or who to ask. I have just frozen on my Odoo project at this moment. Nothing helpful is in the documentation, no YouTube tutorial exists, and AI has no idea. I don't know anything. What is my name? And why are you guys here, gn? This project is becoming an existential/life purpose question 😵‍💫.

I will give each of you a course whether you like it or not, once I figure this out!

Me: "I'll just fix one field."

Odoo: "Would you also like to migrate the database, update the manifest, inherit three views, and question your career choices?"🤦‍♀
The fastest way to become a full-stack developer?

Accidentally accept an Odoo internship.

Odoo isn't a framework.

It's a personality test.

If you survive your first inherited XML view, congratulations—you've unlocked patience as a life skill. 😭
I ask ChatGPT for this kind of emotional support every time my PC lags, so expect a little more. I want all of you to feel my pain 😁.
How many of u take this kind of risks.

I don't really know where this journey will take me yet.

I have a dream of studying medicine, I'm looking into scholarships, learning new skills and trying to keep up with school. So I thought, why not document some of it?

I'll be sharing the things I learn, the skills I'm working on, opportunities I come across, and probably a few random things too.

Anyway, welcome to Elixir ♡

I am socializing a lot these days—almost one meaningful conversation every day. I'm spending more of my time with people, on things that matter more.

A part of me is stressed because I'm not giving as much time to my projects and learning as I usually do. But at the same time, I'm trying to be fully present for the people I love.

Then I keep asking myself...

What was the point of becoming successful or rich in the first place?

Wasn't it to have the freedom to spend time with the people we love?

To create memories instead of constantly postponing them?

Does Abrhot Library back to its regular service? Does any of you have information?
Was trying to read a book until I fall asleep, but I've accepted a 7-page project deliverable for Thursday in the middle of the night🙂. Seems like I have to wake up and lock in.

people judge you by your cover. Am saying this from experience

The more you dress well, look good, and present yourself with high self-esteem, the more people will start respecting you automatically. You will be given priority in a lot of places, especially if you have your smiles on.

Your cover and outward attitude will get you into the room, but staying there is another issue; you need your mind and character.

So, please dress well, present yourself well, and act like you own the place wherever you go.

ልትማረው የምትችለው the biggest skill በፍጥነት reset ማድረግ መቻል ነው።

Bad conversation? እርሳውና እለፈው
Bad day? ነገ እንደገና try አድርግ።
Made a bad choice?

ሁልጊዜም ቢሆን you can always reset and start again
