Hey my people

Quick question — when you start working, how often do you actually stand up?

And when you’re sitting… are you sitting properly, or just surviving in whatever position works at the moment? 😄

Do you ever think about posture, back pain, and long-term health…? shouldn't we get concerned

Sometimes, your next opportunity is just one conversation away.

Back when I was studying at AASTU, I got assigned a dorm roommate I had never met before.

Like most first meetings, we started with simple questions…

“What’s your department?”

That small question turned into a longer conversation about tech, development, and what I had been working on. I ended up showing her some of my projects.

At the time, it didn’t feel like a big moment. Just a normal conversation.

But here’s the thing about me back then, I often went home when we didn’t have many classes.

One day, when I came back, she told me:

“Someone was looking for an application developer… I told them about you.”

She didn’t even have my phone number. She had to look for me.

And just like that from a single conversation and sharing my work I got my first remote job opportunity.

What really matters here:

Your projects are more powerful than your CV

Sharing your work opens doors you didn’t plan for

People can only recommend you if they know what you do

Opportunities don’t always come from applying, sometimes they come from conversations and visibility!

I didn’t get that opportunity from a job board.

I didn’t get it from applying online.
I got it because I shared what I built.

So if you’re building something
don’t keep it to yourself.

You never know who is listening.

Message from the soul

Hey… how are you, really?

I know there are wounds that haven’t healed yet. Opportunities that slipped away. Moments that felt unfair compared to everyone else.

But here’s the truth — at some point, none of that can be your excuse anymore.

You have one real option:
**work harder than you ever have, and earn the life you keep thinking about.**

If you truly want to move forward, start here:

1. Discipline yourself
Train your body, mind, and emotions to align with your decisions.
Not overnight — but slowly, consistently, until you can rely on yourself.

2. Build a clear reference for your life
The world is noisy and confused.
Define what guides you — your faith, your values, your principles, your vision.
Something you can return to when things feel uncertain.

3. Strengthen your connection with God
Everything else is temporary.
When your foundation is strong, storms lose their power over you.

---

This battle doesn’t end unless you decide it does.
Stop overthinking. Stop delaying execution.

Stand up — and move.

But first, learn yourself:
how to guide yourself, correct yourself, heal yourself, and push yourself forward.

That’s when you become dangerous — in a good way.

And one more thing…
don’t lose sight of the bigger question:

What is all this for?

Is it just money? A title? A comfortable life?
Or something deeper?

Find that answer.
Even if it’s not fully clear yet — move toward it.

Live like the person you’re trying to become… until you become them!

I saw this product name Avnotnac 😭 and in the middle of the night, I got an idea.

we all know how hard naming projects can be, and even AI often suggests boring names.

so I turned my solution into a tool anyone can use. Completely free and open source.

Developers often criticize old interfaces without understanding their true value. Yes, they look outdated. But take the Ethiopian Commercial Bank their UI isn't pretty, yet they're incredibly profitable and serve millions of people.

The mistake developers make is focusing only on aesthetics. They forget that real value comes from serving people effectively, not from perfect design. A clunky interface that handles millions of transactions matters more than a beautiful app nobody uses.

Before judging an enterprise system, ask yourself: What real value does it provide? How many people depend on it?

Understanding impact matters more than critiquing the UI.

A2SV stopped operation as of today due to lack of funding😢
This is one of the shocking news items I heard that has an effect equal to the increase in oil prices or the war between Iran and America. A2SV's education, community, and everything else are worth a lot, even for a country. I guess this is my 1,000th time wishing to be a millionaire to solve a problem caused by a lack of money and nothing else.

I am a 4th-year student at ASTU but not an A2SVian; this is called not using the opportunity at hand properly. So, my quick advice: use and embrace whatever you have as fast as possible, as you won't know when a thing is going to end. I'm not talking about A2SV only; this can apply to every section of our life. Finally, I hope our senior A2SVian friends will help and share what they got from their 🙂
Reminder

Becoming successful and becoming someone on whom loved ones, the community, and the country rely is amazing and a dream come true. But the major success in life is saving yourself from this mannerless world; I believe saving oneself is a truly great achievement.

So work hard and stand for yourself; otherwise, God may leave you in the hands of people who don't have an ounce of mercy toward you!
