Story time

It just come up in my mind ena lengerachu
so i went to a ceremony dressed like I normally would. I was with two friends who were constantly talking about how ugly they looked and how everyone else was dressed so much better. At first, I laughed along, but I didn't actually feel that way.

The more they kept saying it, the more I started believing it too. For the first time in my life, I genuinely felt ugly. It was such a strange feeling because I'd never seen myself that way before. When i grow up my mom used to say ሎዛ ጆንያም ብትለብስ ያምርባታል. No one makes me feel ugly before you know ..

Looking back, I realised it wasn't about how I looked it was about the energy around me. Insecurity can be contagious.

That's why it's important to be around people who lift themselves and others up instead of constantly putting themselves down. Confidence is contagious too.

I think the same way. I feel like there are so many stories that could inspire people or teach them something, hidden in the lives of completely random people.

Some of the most interesting people you'll ever meet aren't famous they've just never had someone ask them to tell their story

I love the journey of discovering myself understanding how my mind works, figuring out my thought process, and noticing the patterns i keep repeating without even realizing it

It's weird but interesting to look at myself like I'm an outsider, trying to understand why I react the way I do or why I make certain decisions. The more I pay attention, the more I realize there's always something new to learn about myself.

Life gets a more interesting when you stop trying to figure everyone else out and start figuring yourself out instead

First, this isn't even full. I started taking my own coffee because the coffee at the office is way too strong for me

I only drink 1 or 2 cini a day, and I always eat before I have coffee

Isn't it funny how we sometimes end up hating the very things we once wanted the most? The harder something becomes to reach, the easier it is to convince ourselves we never wanted it anyway. Maybe it's our mind's way of protecting us from disappointment

it is a defense mechanism that quietly rewrites our desires so the loss hurts a little less.
What's fascinating is that we often do it without even realizing it.
