So...a Skill is a reusable capability for AI agents. Think of it as a plugin that teaches your agent how to do specific tasks better.
Today at Dagmawi Babi's Meetup, Robi taught us about good design - colors, spacing, dark mode, animations. But here's the thing: nowadays agents are building more than we do. They need to know this too.
That's why we built a skill called robis-design-best-practice.
Install and use it on Cursor with:
on your UI-specific projects.

Ladies and Gentlemen, as I have promised, the Chillaton is back gang🫡
Chillaton 2 is going to be much bigger than the previous one in many ways.
We are going to have judges as part of the grading process in order to give the event a more hackathon vibe as well.
Chillaton 2 will start on February 16 until February 23, with the final results being announced on the 28th
I dont know how I managed to get these guys to participate in judging😂 (absolute heroes btw), we got
@mo_tries
@dot_ruth
@corax_cave
@SoloDevChronicles
The criteria for judging will be based on cleanness of code, technical execution, functionality, user experience, problem-solving, problem-solving/relation to theme
The theme for this chillaton is going to be: Glimpse into the Future
Like the last time, you can build whatever you want. There are no restrictions, use them minds to create something cool. At the end deploy them and you'll send it to me alongside your github repo.
This time, the reward pot has increased for the winners.
1st place: 3K birr
2nd place: 2K birr
3rd place: 1K birr
Go crazy peeps. Show us what you're made out of😤

Before your final year ends, or at least before you graduate, challenge yourself.
Don’t just aim for the degree.
Aim for proof of work.
Have at least:
1. 2–3 solid, real-world projects (not just tutorial copies)
2. Real-world experience
3. At least one deployed project people can actually use
4. A GitHub that shows consistency, not just empty repos
5. Real problems you struggled with and solved
6. Experience working with APIs, databases, authentication, deployment ....
University gives you theory.
The market asks for experience.

Massive update for Chillaton 2, guys.
I have collab-ed with @miheretabtrysstuff to make the submission of projects as well as judging and liking of projects easier through https://stark.wip.et/. Essentially we now have a hub where the contest is held at and all that is required to "register" is to just submit your project and github repo. Check it out here: CHILLATON 2
Massive thanks to Miheretab for showing my around the app. We basically hyper tested the heck out of the contest feature😂 A great guy honestly, go sub to his channel gang🫡
Share this around so all participants know where to submit their stuff🙏🏾😁

You’re busy questioning your worth.
At the same time, someone else sees what you’re capable of — and that possibility unsettles them....
You doubt yourself because you focus on your flaws.
They fear your potential because they see your trajectory.
You see your current limitations.
They see what happens if you stop hesitating.
Untested potential doesn’t stay neutral.
It decays.
The longer you ignore it, the heavier it feels.
The heavier it feels, the more you avoid it.
And eventually, you build a personality around playing small.
Here’s the part no one says:
Some people are not threatened by who you are now.
They’re threatened by who you’d become if you stopped doubting yourself.
So the real question is not:
“Am I good enough?”
It’s:
“Am I willing to risk discovering that I am?”🫡
