Password Safety & 2FA 🔐

Many lose accounts due to weak or reused passwords. Hackers don’t always break in; they log in with your own password. 👨‍💻


📍How Hackers Get Your Password:
• Guessing simple ones: “12345678,” “password123”
• Buying leaked passwords
• Phishing with fake emails/links

📍Why It’s Dangerous:
• One password can risk all accounts
• Hackers can reset passwords via email
• They can read messages, steal money, or impersonate you

📍How to Create a Strong Password:
• Use 12+ characters
• Mix letters, numbers, and symbols
• Avoid names, birthdays, or obvious patterns like “password123”

✅ Use a Password Manager:
• Stores and generates strong passwords
• Checks weak passwords

✅ Turn on 2FA:
• Adds a second login step
• Even with your password, hackers can’t log in without the code

Securing Your Devices 📱💻

Your phone and laptop hold your personal data, photos, and accounts. If they get hacked or stolen by someone, you might lose more than just a phone.

📍Why it Matters?
• Hackers can install apps to steal passwords or track you
• Lost or stolen devices can expose your messages, photos, and banking apps
• Outdated systems have security holes that hackers use to break in

📍How It happens?
• When you download fake apps or files from unsafe sites
• When you use public Wi-Fi without protection
• When you ignore system updates or use weak phone locks

✅How to Protect your Devices?
• Keep your phone and computer updated regularly
• Install apps ONLY from official stores
• Use strong PINs, strong passwords, or biometrics (fingerprint, face unlock)
• Don’t leave Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on when not needed
• Use antivirus or built-in security tools
• Back up your data regularly to a secure cloud or drive
