☄️Community Call Summary - 22/03/2022☄️
Wen Evmos?
● Team will be upgrading Testnet in order to test the latest deployments for the next 1-2 weeks.
● If all goes well, team will move forward with the Mainnet launch in the following week.
● Claiming period will be extended to give all claimers enough time to claim.
● Evmos team will publish data report with their findings and make informed decision whether to reset the chain or continue with the latest block height. It will be a data-driven decision.
Plan for Launch
● Dashboard will be ready
● Ledger support available on Metamask, but not on Keplr (you'll be able to migrate your claimable assets from Keplr to another address like MM)
● Staking rewards (Inflation) will be paused. Turns on through governance.
● Locked funds recovery
● EVM module enabled
Integrations
● Bridges will be able to deploy for immediate liquidity from ETH
● Might be a few days delay for Osmosis integration

Quicksilver, Airdrop Wat?

The Basics
Over 50% of our Genesis supply will be going to airdrops, meaning our users will receive over 100,000,000 Quick (QCK) tokens. The airdrops will be going to the accounts that are staking on any given chain we onboard and are on the snapshot. The first airdrop will take place at Genesis.
But what about the zones we on-board after the genesis drop? Will their stakers be eligible for airdrops? The answer is: Absolutely. We have allocated a percentage of our ongoing inflation emissions to an incentives pool, and so stakers of zones that are on-boarded at later dates will also benefit from airdrops.
Airdrop Structure
The amount of tokens airdropped into each account will not be solely determined by the amount of stake that account has. There are several factors that will factor into this, such as the validator you are staking with. To prevent people from gaming the airdrop, we won’t be revealing the exact equation until after the snapshot, but do keep in mind that Quicksilver values decentralization, governance, and community participation… So pay attention to what validator you are staking with.
Our goal with an airdrop like this is to support decentralization, promote participation in Cosmos governance and make sure this airdrop is as fair as possible. As a protocol, we are not running validators, so there will be no preferred validators, and all will be weighed equally — with the exception of centralized exchanges, which will be excluded.
The Quicksilver (QCK) Token
The QCK token’s main functions are to encourage users to stake with us and to vote on governance. The Genesis supply is 200 million tokens, with a total maximum lifetime supply of 1 billion.
