A quick thought for anyone exploring Cloud Native
If you’re getting into Kubernetes or Cloud Native, at some point you probably had this feeling:
“There are way too many tools. Where do I even start?”
You’re not alone. Everyone hits this moment.
At some point I found this link, and it honestly helped me calm down and zoom out instead of panicking
🔗 https://landscape.cncf.io/
This isn’t something you’re supposed to memorize.
It’s more like a map.
It shows:
- what exists in the Cloud Native world
- how things are grouped,
- and why there are so many tools in the first place.
Sometimes just seeing the full picture helps you realize:
- You don’t need to know everything.
- You just need to know what problem you’re solving right now.
If you’re a beginner — this helps you understand the ecosystem without feeling lost.
If you’re experienced — it helps you put names and structure around things you already use.
In Cloud Native Uzbekistan, we’ll often come back to this map, not for buzzwords, but to connect dots and understand real systems.
Take a look when you have time.
And tell us what part of Cloud Native are you trying to understand right now?

🚀 CNCF: Kubernetes has become the de facto “operating system” for AI
According to the CNCF Annual Cloud Native Survey:
• 82% of container users now run Kubernetes in production (up from 66% in 2023)
• 98% of organizations have adopted cloud-native approaches
• 66% of companies hosting genAI models use Kubernetes for some or all of their inference workloads
If you’re building an AI/ML platform, Kubernetes is no longer “optional”. It’s the standard foundation.

🚀 Tekton joins the CNCF Incubation: a new milestone for Cloud-Native CI/CD!
It’s official — Tekton has moved from the CD Foundation to the CNCF as an Incubating project. This is a massive step forward for the ecosystem, solidifying Tekton’s position as the standard for Kubernetes-native pipelines.
Why is this a big deal?
🔹 Kubernetes-native by design: Tekton doesn't just run on K8s; it lives inside it, using CRDs to manage your CI/CD workflows.
🔹 Ultimate Flexibility: It’s modular and reusable, allowing you to build complex delivery systems that work across any cloud provider.
🔹 Better Integration: Joining CNCF means even tighter synergy with projects like Argo CD, Flux, and Kyverno.
💡 Why should you care in 2026?
If you’re moving away from legacy Jenkins and looking for a declarative, scalable way to handle builds.
If you want to standardize your deployment pipelines across multiple teams and clusters.
If you are building a platform (IDP) and need a reliable, open-source engine under the hood.
Tekton reaching the Incubation stage proves its maturity, security, and readiness for high-scale production environments.
The future of CI/CD is declarative, and Tekton is leading the way.
What do you think?
👉 Are you already using Tekton, or are you sticking with GitHub Actions / GitLab CI? Let’s discuss in the comments!

Community is built by people, but it also needs the right infrastructure to help people discover, join, and stay connected.
CNCF Community Groups have moved to the new Open Community Groups platform: https://ocgroups.dev/
And this is already a large ecosystem: 272 groups, 88,328 members, 5,993 events, and 140,739 attendees are now represented on the new CNCF community platform.
For me, this is more than just a platform migration. It is an important step toward making local Cloud Native communities easier to find, easier to follow, and easier to grow.
Open Community Groups is an open source events platform for communities and organizations. It gives members a better way to discover groups and events, explore calendars, register for meetups, and stay updated.
For organizers, it brings the operational side of community work into one place: group dashboards, analytics, event management, Call for Speakers workflows, agendas, RSVP, attendance tracking, QR check-in, notifications, Zoom integration, and more.
The source code is available on GitHub: https://github.com/cncf/open-community-groups
The repository includes the platform code, documentation, quickstart guides, dashboard workflows, contribution guidelines, and deployment-related components. The project is open source under the Apache License 2.0, so it can be studied, contributed to, and used as a foundation for building your own community or event platform. It is also worth noting that the project is currently in beta, so it should be evaluated carefully before production use.
That matters because community work is not only about hosting events. It is also about reducing friction — for attendees, speakers, volunteers, and organizers.
The easier it is to discover and participate, the stronger local communities become.
Our Cloud Native Uzbekistan community has also moved to a new address:
