security by design

Security by design is an approach to software and hardware development that seeks to make systems as free of vulnerabilities and impervious to attack as possible through such measures as continuous testing, authentication safeguards and adherence to best programming practices.

An emphasis on building security into products counters the all-too-common tendency for security to be an afterthought in development. Addressing existing vulnerabilities and patching security holes as they are found can be a hit-and-miss process and will never be as effective as designing systems to be as secure as possible from the start.

Security by design is rapidly becoming crucial in the rapidly developing Internet of Things (IoT) environment, in which almost any conceivable device, object or entity can be given a unique identifier (UID) and networked to make them addressable over the Internet.

تعداد زیادی از کاربران نرم افزار TeamViewer گزارش کرده اند که در چند روز اخیر از طریق این نرم افزار به سیستم های آنها دسترسی غیرمجاز انجام شده است و سیستم آنها و اطلاعات شخصی آنها مورد دستبرد واقع شده است! از شواهد به نظر می رسد سرورهای نرم افزار TeamViewer هک شده است.
توصیه اکید می شود فعلا استفاده از این نرم افزار را به تعلیق درآورید.

OpenStack

OpenStack is an open source infrastructure as a service (IaaS) initiative for creating and managing large groups of virtual private servers in a data center.

The goals of the OpenStack initiative are to support interoperability between cloud services and allow businesses to build Amazon-like cloud services in their own data centers. OpenStack, which is freely available under the Apache 2.0 license, is often referred to in the media as "the Linux of the Cloud" and is compared to Eucalyptus and the Apache CloudStack project, two other open source cloud initiatives.

OpenStack has a modular architecture that currently has seventeen components:

Nova - provides virtual machines (VMs) upon demand.

Swift - provides a scalable storage system that supports object storage.

Cinder - provides persistent block storage to guest VMs.

Glance - provides a catalog and repository for virtual disk images.

Keystone - provides authentication and authorization for all the OpenStack services.

Horizon - provides a modular web-based user interface (UI) for OpenStack services.

Neutron - provides network connectivity-as-a-service between interface devices managed by OpenStack services.

Ceilometer - provides a single point of contact for billing systems.

Heat - provides orchestration services for multiple composite cloud applications.

Trove - provides database-as-a-service provisioning for relational and non-relational database engines.

Sahara - provides data processing services for OpenStack-managed resources.

Ironic - provisions bare metal machines.
 
Zaqar - multi-tenant cloud messaging service for web developers.
 
Manila - provides an open API.
 
Designate - a multi-tenant REST API for managing DNS.
 
Searchlight - provides search capabilities across various OpenStack cloud services.
 
Barbican - a REST API designed for the secure storage, provisioning and management of secrets.

🔰 سرمایه‌گذاری گسترده دولت و ارتش آمریکا بر روی اینترنت اشیا

👈 اختصاص بودجه در زمینه Iot از سوی دولت امریکا در سال مالی ۲۰۱۵ به ۸٫۸ میلیارد دلار رسید. این رقم در سال مالی ۲۰۱۴ برابر با ۷٫۷ میلیارد دلار بود.

👈🏾 سرمایه‌گذاری کاخ سفید درزمینهٔ اینترنت اشیا سه بخش را شامل می‌شود:
-بخش اول ایجاد زیرساخت‌های جدید و ساخت محصولات تازه مانند حسگرها، مراکز ذخیره‌سازی داده کلود و ... است.
-بخش دوم عرضه نرم‌افزارهای جدید تعاملی و ابزار جمع‌آوری و تحلیل، پردازش و انتقال داده و همین‌طور نرم‌افزارهای پایگاه داده را دربر می‌گیرد.
-بخش سوم نیز مربوط به یافتن راه‌حل‌های امنیتی جدید به‌منظور حفاظت از محصولات و ابزار مبتنی بر اینترنت اشیا است.

👈 بیشترین میزان سرمایه‌گذاری دولت آمریکا متوجه برنامه‌های سازگار با محصولات سخت‌افزاری اینترنت اشیا بوده است. رقم سرمایه‌گذاری در این بخش از سال مالی ۲۰۱۱ تا ۲۰۱۵ به ۱۰٫۷ میلیارد دلار می‌رسد.
حوزه امنیت سایبری با ۸٫۶ میلیارد دلاری در رتبه دوم و
محصولات بی‌سیم و ... هم با اختصاص بودجه ۴٫۵ میلیارد دلاری در رتبه سوم است.

👈 ارتش آمریکا برای ساخت حسگرهای زیستی جمع‌آوری اطلاعات مربوط به‌سلامت و داده‌های پزشکی سربازان بودجه زیادی را به این حوزه اختصاص داده است. این حسگرها می‌توانند اطلاعات زیادی را از محیط اطراف خود هم جمع‌آوری کنند تا تهدیدات پیش روی سربازان آمریکایی را شناسایی کنند.

👈۸۸ درصد از کل بودجه اختصاص‌یافته به ساخت این حسگرها مربوط به نهادهای نظامی و دفاعی ایالات‌متحده است که از سوی شرکت‌های پیمان‌کاری طرف قرارداد ارتش آمریکا مانند Raytheon،Lockheed Martin، Northrop Grumman و BAE Systems تأمین‌شده است...منبع
