Bad Bunny just tore it all apart again.
At Super Bowl LX, he became the first halftime show headliner to perform almost entirely in Spanish and it was a straight-up Latino strike against the mainstream.
Right after the final chord, he went to Instagram and wiped everything clean.
31 years old. He started as a supermarket stocker in Vega Baja, uploading tracks to SoundCloud, and ended up the most-streamed artist on Spotify for five years straight. He’s got 6 Grammys, 17 Latin Grammys, albums YHLQMDLG, Un Verano Sin Ti, and Debí Tirar Más Fotos smashing chart records. Debí Tirar Más Fotos became the first fully Spanish-language album to win Album of the Year at the Grammys.
He acts in movies with Brad Pitt and Adam Sandler, stepped into the WWE ring, wears long nails and dresses whenever he feels like it, and still refuses to sing in English just to fit someone else’s rules.
He brought Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin to the stage — the trio blew everything up. Even the football players forgot about the game.

Last year one of the brightest discoveries for collaba was our friend Mr. Beale, you might remember her from our Astana livestream. She came from a classical background, then played in a band, gained attention from respected media like BBC Radio and NTS, and since 2025 is making her first steps as a solo artist 🦋
Now we’re starting 2026 with all eyes on Mr. Beale, so meet “Harpy” - the third single from her upcoming EP that was written in a cabin in Lapland! If that alone doesn’t excite you, just press play on this new track!
“Harpy” leans into a dreamy, меditative trip-hop atmosphere blended with alt-pop: a looping vocal sample, melancholic piano and rough guitar riffs slowly build around her soft, jazz-tinged voice. The lyrics are intimate and dark as you follow the artist's love story to the late-song confession “I moved on to someone else”. And yeah, Mr. Beale - wherever you move on to next, we’re with you! 🫶

Eutectica, by Lavandala
7 track album
ㅤ
One of our team members and an active participant in our community Lavandala has just released an album!
Eutectica is a pure R&D sound design experiment, inspired by thermodynamics, hydrodynamics, and physical/colloid chemistry.
Cartoonish, clay-like sounds grab your attention, while fractured, hypnotic rhythms pull you out of reality and drop you into an elaborate indie-studio video game.🎮 🫧

Hey!
There’s a new release in our cozy community!
Yablochko Zelenoe has just dropped a new EP
«Boys Don't Cry» — a record that sounds like a quiet conversation with oneself. In place of words, it offers experimental electronic textures and classic breakbeat. Familiar melodies persist only until the track's midpoint, only to shatter into fragments.
enjoy🎵

The Eternal Spell: Honoring Nina Simone on Her Birthday🎂
Nina Simone was a scientist of sound, an architect of emotion, and a historian of the black experience. Born Eunice Kathleen Waymon in North Carolina in 1933, she was a child prodigy who could play piano by ear before her feet could reach the pedals. Her lifelong dream was to become the first black female classical pianist in America.
When the Curtis Institute of Music rejected her application—an act she maintained was rooted in racism—Eunice was forced to play in the bars of Atlantic City to support her family. It was there that she became Nina Simone, a pseudonym chosen to hide her 'devil’s music' from her strictly religious mother.
Her 1965 masterpiece, I Put a Spell on You, represents the pinnacle of her transformative power. Where Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ original was a piece of voodoo kitsch, Simone turned it into a desperate, elegant demand for devotion. She utilized her classical training to treat the piano not just as an accompaniment, but as a second voice, weaving counterpoints that sounded more like Bach than Broadway.
Simone possessed a rare gift: the ability to turn any song into a piece of autobiography. She didn't just sing; she cast a spell, forcing the listener to feel every crack in her voice and every strike of the keys. She was the embodiment of contradiction—tender yet commanding, classical yet revolutionary. A legend? The word seems almost too small for a woman of her magnitude.

Recently stumbled upon a mesmerizing reel by an artist we just had to share with you guys.
Meet Tyler Tilley — a Canadian creator and talented artist based in Thailand. His signature style is pop art, where he masterfully blends cartoons with gritty realism. His personal motto, "NOT A BIG FAN OF NORMAL," pretty much sums up his vibe.
Here’s what Tyler says about his approach:
Tyler’s vibrant, surreal pop art is absolutely impossible to ignore — and it makes us wonder, who are the artists that have captured your attention lately?

Here’s what Tyler says about his approach:
I remember thinking even as a kid: you could take a normal photo, or you (meaning me) could make it interesting. My family doesn’t have many untainted, polished group shots because I made it my mission to ruin as many as possible by acting like a complete idiot. I still hold that point of view today.😂
My work lives in the space between satire and sincerity. I paint melting icons, cartoon nightmares, steampunk saints, and pop-culture ghosts. It’s strange, vivid, and full of tension that asks: why do we worship the things we do?
For over 17 years, I’ve used oil paint and a healthy disrespect for the expected to transform familiar figures into something weirder and more honest. I’m here to mock mediocrity, mourn memory, and find beauty in cultural decay. I love blending humor with anxiety, pop culture with pathos, and the uncanny with the strangely familiar.
