Here's what's really going on with California Democrats and AB 379 — the bill that was supposed to make sex trafficking minors a felony again.

In April 2025, Democrats changed the bill so that it no longer includes felony charges for people who solicit or pay for sex with 16- or 17-year-olds, unless it can be clearly proven that the teen was a victim of human trafficking. And since that’s incredibly hard to prove, it basically means these cases are now treated as misdemeanors.

To put it bluntly, this means that in California, owning a child sex slave isn’t actually punished in any meaningful way. Yes, seriously. That’s not a mistake or a misinterpretation.

And honestly, how does anyone still support the Democrats after this?

Protects predators while kids suffer. AB 379 exposes their true colors: soft on trafficking, soft on pedos, tough on excuses. This is the party of moral rot prioritizing ideology over innocence.

Gene Seroka, the Executive Director of the Port of Los Angeles, was interviewed by Bloomberg News today, laying out a disturbing timeline of supply chain disruptions, empty shelves and retail shock that has already been set into motion.
