Temple of the Four Winds, Castle Howard 1701
Castle Howard, the home of the Howard family for over 300 years, maybe best known as the filming location for the series Brideshead Revisited. This is a small temple at the far end of the extensive grounds. The building was used for entertaining, including a wedding. It's a very romantic place with marvellous views of the English countryside.

The reconstructed acroterion exhibited in the Acropolis Museum aims to visualise the impressive size of the two acroterions that exceed three metres and highlight their design novelty that draws on the combination of acanthus and palm tree leaves.
