Those who are reporting issues or bugs, please report them on GitHub with screenshots, screen recordings, logs, and a full description of when the issue occurs and what exactly happens. You can also report them on Discord or Telegram.

Logs aren't mandatory, but screenshots or screen recordings along with a proper, detailed description are a must.

And I know some people try to act cool by spamming things like "Aah, why tf?" or "What's this?" without providing any useful information. That's just nonsense, man. We're going to ignore such reports anyway.

Hey! We noticed that someone registered lastwave.app and created a website introducing LastWave.

We genuinely appreciate the effort and support for the project! ❀️ However, we'd love to get in touch with you to discuss a few things regarding the domain and website.

Please contact us at t.me/sudo_solo or DM me directly on Discord.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Let's make LastWave popular !!

Yeah, I mean it's already popular, but it's way too less than it deserves. So can you all post about it on Twitter, Reddit, Instagram Reels, Telegram channels, groups, Discord, anywhere you can?

Thanks, everyone.

We are pleased to announce that true bit-perfect playback support for UAC 1.0 DACs has been successfully resolved and will officially roll out in the next update. While UAC 2.0 devices already benefit from full bit-perfect output, this upcoming release ensures that entry-level UAC 1.0 dongles and Type-C cables can completely bypass OS audio resampling to deliver pure, uncompressed lossless audio directly to your IEMs. Stay tuned for the release!

Hey guys, I got a really cool idea for LastWave, though I don't know if you all will agree with it or not. We're thinking of making a live website where everyone can see how many people are listening right now on a 2D world map, with each active listener showing up as a glowing dot. Along with the live map, the site will also display the Top 10 daily, weekly, and monthly songs, plus other cool app stats for everyone to check out.

Of course, I'm not going to use any GPS or location permissions. It will just use the incoming IP in real time purely for map-plotting purposes at a rough state or city level, and then immediately discard it. Don't worry all data will be 100% anonymous, no IP addresses will ever be stored, and the entire website and server code will be completely open source so anyone can verify it.

Still, if you guys are against it, I'll drop this plan completely. Let me know what you think!

Hey guys, I got a really cool idea for LastWave, though I don't know if you all will agree with it or not. We're thinking of making a live website where everyone can see how many people are listening right now on a 2D world map, with each active listener showing…
Look, seeing some of the replies about the live map idea, I really need to explain how the internet actually works because a few of you saw the letters "IP" and immediately started acting like your privacy is getting violated? wtf.

Here's the funniest part: you're already using addons inside this exact same app! Every time you stream a song, your device hands your IP directly to those lossless streaming addon serversβ€”didn't you know that? You have zero issues giving your IP to addons every day, so why the sudden panic when LastWave uses the same connection just to put a glowing dot on an open-source map and build community stats?

An IP doesn't even show your houseβ€”it points to a random ISP box kilometers away in your city, and nobody cares what you're listening to at 2 AM. Our server just grabs that rough city or state name for half a millisecond, adds "+1" to the 2D map and the grouped daily, weekly, and monthly top song charts (for your region, country, and the world), and instantly deletes your connection info forever. Nothing personal is logged or saved, and the entire code is open source for anyone who actually knows how to read code instead of panicking in chat.

If you're happily using lossless streaming addons all day while freaking out over an open-source app showing an anonymous city dot and grouped song charts without saving a single byte of your data, please go touch some grass. For everyone else who actually uses their brain, let me know if you want this built or if we should just add an opt-out switch for the tin-foil hat squad.

Hey guys, the live map and community stats website for LastWave is officially built and deployed!

Open-Source Repo: https://github.com/Clash-Projects/LastWave-Telemetry
Live Website: https://telemetry.clashprojects.qd.je/

Right now you can check out the UI and inspect the entire backend and frontend code yourself on GitHub to verify that zero personal data or IPs are ever stored. Live data will start showing up on the map and top song charts from the next release, once we configure and hook it into the new APK.

Go check out the repo, star ⭐️ it if you like what we're building, and stay tuned for the next update!

Lyrics Screen needs serious improvement, right? I think we can consider features like listen together and Spotify integration in future updates. Literally a year ago, when I was building a website for streaming through the JioSaavn API, I even included a listen together feature. However, since this is an audiophile app where users want to dive deep into the music, I don't think its necessary, I will still look into listen together. Regarding Spotify integration, I really dislike it; the only good thing about Spotify is the canvas. πŸ₯€ Still, if users want it, we will consider it. This update will be specifically focused on stability, speed, performance, lyrics, bit perfect and telemetry.

Please be advised that the Lastwave website is scheduled for its official release in the near future. ✨

Auralis puts synced lyrics in a compact floating window right on top of whatever you're doing. Whether it's LastWave, Spotify, or YT Music, the lyrics follow along in real time while you scroll, chat, or game.

If you're listening on LastWave, you get a sleek floating overlay playing your song's lyrics without blocking your screenβ€”meaning you can freely explore your feed, Quick Picks, and instant radio inside LastWave without staying stuck on a lyrics screen, or even switch to other apps and still keep the lyrics right in view. Definitely a must-try!

Should I restrict lossless to only supported DAC, headphones, and LDAC buds?
This was a social experiment; yeah, I'm not restricting lossless access. I will add some integrity checks so users can verify whether their gear supports lossless or not and turn off lossless by themselves if it doesn't support it. Even restricting it is better, because without gears loseless doesn't makes sense , its just waste of data ,this exposes the hypocrisy of around 50% of the users here who don't have the gear but are eager to abuse a server that's free for all. Are you running behind the label of lossless or FLAC? How pathetic , just bec, they've unlimited 5G data or broadband.
