HOW TO CHECK QUALITY OF CEMENT ON SITE--
(1)Colour Test--
✓colour must be uniform [Grey greenish shade]
(2)Float Test--
✓Take a cement and throw it into water and if -
°cement is sink in water then it has good quality
°cement floats it has bad quality
(3) Rubbing Test--
✓Take a pich of cement & rubbs in fingers if it is smooth it is good
(4)Date Of Packing--
✓As cement's age increases it's strength decreases
∆After 3 months of packing its strength decreases by 20 to 30%
∆After 6 months - Decreases by 30-40%
∆After 12 months - decreases by 40-50%

If you are preparing for Government Examination, whichever State you belong to. These 3 books are basic need for your preparation.
● 1. S. Chand Publication (Khurmi & Gupta) = This book contains both mcq's and conventional..simply written.
If you are starting your preparation, then this book should be you first book or you can say first preference.
This book is now change (just cover page changed) ..I have the old edition... new edition is primarily for GATE UPSC but it hardly serve the purpose though it can gave you very minor and primary knowledge about GATE and UPSC ( I am saying that because I have old edition if this book and latest edition just added some more topic)
● 2. R. Agor = This book is very vast, if you memorise this book, definitely its going to help you to crack exam but the biggest drawback of this book is there are too many errors, which will make you confused.
But you can get mcq, conventional, one liner, Descriptions, UPSE pre Questions and Answer.. Everything.
this book also changed,,,I hv old edition, but I show you picture of both the edition of this book,
● 3. Gupta & Gupta = this is a good book,,,you definitely need this book,,,but in every subject after 100 or 150 Question, the Question came in ESE, GATE exm, which you need a sharp mind to understand,,, you can read one liner mcq's which you think you can remember.
From Every subject, first 200 Question are definitely 100% important for any mcq exam,,,you must remember this 200 Question of every subject.
