I used to be entirely opposed to guns believing that the Australian gun buy back scheme was a step in the right direction. After all, weapons have no place in a perfect world.... however, it was only when I realised that the American forefathers put the 2nd amendment in place to allow citizens to protect themselves from the tyranny of their own Government, did it make sense.
