We build in public, which means showing the real work, not just polished announcements. Here's where v1.0 actually stands:

✅ Architecture locked
Angular + NestJS + PostgreSQL. Deliberately simple and buildable, not over-engineered.

✅ Citation data strategy set
ORCID → OpenAlex → OpenCitations (with Crossref/DataCite checks). Open sources, cross-referenced, honestly aware no single source is complete.

🔨 Now building
ORCID login, connecting each account to a persistent researcher identity.

🔨 Now designing
The citation verification engine, separating whether a citation is real from whether it earns reward, handling self-citation fairly, and flagging unusual patterns without ever falsely accusing anyone.

📄 How to read a scientific paper (the secret nobody teaches)

Don't read it top to bottom. Do this instead:

1️⃣ Abstract, is it worth your time?
2️⃣ Intro + conclusion, why + what
3️⃣ Figures, the data tells the story
4️⃣ Methods + results, only if it matters

And always ask: could this be reproduced? 🔍

Reading critically is what makes a real researcher.
