FOMC Thoughts:

- Powell is going to get asked 1000x about trump. He will say 1000x that he is independent. Generally, I think its hard for them to project what policies he will enact and how that will impact what they do.
- Major sources of inflation are trending down (ie rents), and Atlanta Fed just just projected a drop in GDP. Both of which are pro-cuts at a time max hawkishness is priced in.
Initial move is prob up cause of hedges closing.
- Any talk about cuts more likely or change in plot is shutup and bid (this isn't expected)
- HTF we are in a global cutting cycle, a global easing cycle, and trump will look to pump markets. I don't see the argument against that.
- The change in Fed voting members also moved more towards doves, so will likely see that show up in surprise dissents, etc.

If we include all instances, I think there are 10 instances and winrate would be 20%.

Hi Zoran. According to my backtests, there have been 7 instances of 1D bearish E2E setups on BTC from Aug 2019, and its winrate on this TF is 0%. (All 7 instances failed).
(With all the rules that you mentioned in TotT)

If I run it on BTCUSD Index, the results are different. 16 instances with 37.5% winrate. (First trade @ April 3 2011)

It seems that on 1D, maybe it has lost its edge in the past years.

Yes @whalewolf, I have traded it on many pairs & TFs in these years (including this trade at the end of 2021 bullrun). But at some point I saw that I was loosing a lot, so I decided to code it and backtest it and only apply it to high probability pairs/TFs :)
