"Past Perfect Simple, Clear and Bright"

Past Perfect Simple, a time before, 
An action completed, closed the door. 

“Had” is the key, it starts the phrase, 
For something finished in earlier days. 

“I had walked,” or “They had seen,” 
The action was done, no in-between. 

It shows what happened, prior to then, 
In stories of now, it takes us back again. 

If two things occurred, one before the next, 
Past Perfect Simple explains the context. 

So, remember “had” with a verb that’s plain, 
For actions completed in time’s past lane!

When future plans are in your sight,
"Be going to" helps get it right.
Start with "am", "is", or even "are"
No matter who you are or where you are.

"I am going to bake a cake,"
Or "She is going to take a break."
Use "am" with "I," and don't delay,
For "is" with "he, she", or "it" will stay.

For you, we, and they, it's are you need,
A simple rule, it will succeed!
"Are they going to see a show?"
Or "We are going to help and grow."

The verb that follows stays so clear,
An infinitive—no changes here!
"Going to swim," "Going to run,"
The future's planned, the work's begun.

So when your plans are set in stone,
Use "be going to" in your tone!

She's about to sing, her voice will soar, 
Moments before she opens the door. 
The world waits quiet, breath held tight, 
For something new is just in sight.
