Xiaomi has reportedly restructured its Xiao Ai team to strengthen its AI strategy 🚀. The new structure divides Xiao Ai into three core modules: the MiMo base model, Cloud AI capabilities ☁️, and Device-Side AI, which will now be managed by Xiaomi's smartphone and automotive OS teams 📱🚗.
Wang Gang has moved from Xiao Ai to Xiaomi's robotics division 🦾. The "Hey Xiao Ai" wake-up command remains unchanged 🗣️, but the restructuring aims to enable more customized AI experiences across Xiaomi's phones, cars, and smart devices, with a stronger focus on on-device AI performance ⚡.
